*****THIS IS CHROME BELOW****** .. width="425" height="350" ..Many interests...music is key to life. I play guitar, mostly electric. I still write songs...vocals, bass, guitar, and lyrics. I'm also trying to get into home recording. I've got the 4x12, the high gain head, the SM57 and the inspiration... I seem to read a lot of sci-fi these days. I still like anthropology stuff and stay up on all the new discoveries that are surfacing these days. Can you say Homo floresiensis? I'm a big basketball fan and was even going to try to make it onto the UCLA basketball team. Don't laugh!? But that was a while ago. I like to see a good movie, just like anyone. I'm still a writer at heart too. I like the written word.
I had to put this one in here. If only I knew it was actually true... (below)
Your Kissing Technique Is: Perfect
Your kissing technique is amazing - and you know it.
You have the confidence to make the first move.
And you always seem to know what kissing style is going to work best.
Sometimes you're passionate, sometimes you're a tease. And you're always amazing!
Are You a Good Kisser?

I now write a lot of metal, a lot of punk-ish/hardcore stuff, some ska and reggae, and jazz. I'm a big fan of Ty Tabor of King's X (he just rages!), Jerry Cantrell once from Alice in Chains, Greg Ginn of Black Flag, Steve Vai, and Dr. Know of the Bad Brains. And Jimi Hendrix of course. *********** I was a big hip hop fan from back in the day, a la the late 80's early 90's, the period I like to call the Middle school. I've got family in the rap game, some very talented relatives. I wish them well.*********I'm not really into pop music, and/or music with heavy radio play. I tend to like underground stuff predominately. *****My favorite current cd is the live album by King's X. My most inspirational recent find is the band Meshuggah, who I am starting to really be impressed by. Metal madness!!!
Favorite movie of all time is Koyaanisquatsi! Amazing film, though some people probably wouldn't even call it a film at all. As a Lord of the Rings fan, I was so proud of what they did with the last three films. I've been a fan of Ralph Bakshi, especially Wizards and his version of Lord of the Rings. Fritz the Cat and Hey Good Looking are of note as well. Big fan of the Matrix. Big Star Wars fan. Gattaca was cool. Big fan of Jesus Christ Superstar, especially the music. Favorite horror film is Phantasm. I could list many more movies that I think are good, but I won't here. I tend to not be THAT hard to please. I am willing to suspend disbelieve for the sake of the movie. The only thing I don't usually like are total blood and gore-fests. Some of the Tarentino films are choice. Jackie Brown was excellent. So was Pulp Fiction, of course. And Kill Bill 1 and 2. I'm into everything from Bill and Ted, to Sideways, to Cheech and Chong (even though I don't party...anymore). The last film I saw that I really, really liked was City of God. That movie blew me away. See that movie. It's a ganster movie based on real events in Rio, Brazil. Wow!
I don't know why I'm a little ashamed to admit it, but Southpark is bloody brilliant! Also good are Ali-G, Jackass, even That 70's Show. I tend to like tv comedy a lot more than drama or reality, but I watch a little of it all. I mean, Flavor of Love is always interesting, right? But if we include cable, I have to mention the Sopranos and Entourage.
I grew up on the classics; Mark Twain, Grimm's Fairytales, Richard Scary, and Where the Wild Things Are. Reading Lord of the Rings got me into the whole fantasy/Sci-fi genre. My favorite fantasy series, by far, are the Elric of Melnibone books, by Michael Moorcock. I also liked Le Morte D' Arthur by Thomas Malory. I've read Le Morte more times than any other book. I also liked Stephen R. Donaldson's Thomas R. Covenent books.I got into Herman Hesse in high school. One of the most influential, important books for me was Siddharta by Hesse. I got into comics while in college, and became a fan of Frank Miller, Alan Moore, of Judge Dredd and more. I have a sizeable collection of books spanning cultural and social anthropology, cultural studies, paleoanthropology, and various culture theory texts. For casual reading, I enjoy Michael Crighton. That guy really knows how to push the action. I admire his skill in propelling the plot of his stories. I also, like many, am a big Harry Potter fan. R.K. Rowling is another very, very effective writer.
Well, my first thought goes straight to TSOL: "Live your Life, Ignore Heroes, F**k the Establishment." Works for me!
