George Clintion, Parliment/Funkadelic, Prince, Larry Graham, Curtis Mayfield, Frank Zappa, Ohio Players, Sly and the Family Stone, Stevie Wonder, Mingus, Slim and Slam, The Clash, Duke Ellington, Thelonius Monk, Louis Jordan, Bootsy Collins, Fats Waller... Too many to justly name... All those who created somethin from nuttin without pushin panic buttons.
Sounds Like: A double bubble of brewing funk, jazz, hip hop, rock, and soul trouble that meshes into the funky, original, authentic sound that is Nutmeg Music. Authentic, dynamic, groove oriented music, with relevant and humorous catchy melodies, and unique harmonies, that pulse with bass thick lines, and unpredictable directions.
