Ballistic Groove

Debut CD Fuse available on iTunes & CDBaby.com!

About Me

Ballistic Groove is a boiling pot of sounds, served up in your face. The band is made up of 4 guys, each with completely different musical backgrounds and influences. As capable of delivering funky hip-hop as they are blistering thrash, their style cannot be accurately labeled -- or accurately defined -- as anything less than eargasmic. Chronicling both the seedy underbelly and the fractured beauty of their hometown of Los Angeles, their songs WILL kick you in the balls. Look both ways before crossing the street, kiddies, and check these guys out.Look both ways before crossing the street, kiddies, and check these guys out.
ABOUT THE BAND: Shawn K. is probably best known as bassist for the band Kuba and for his other projects under the name Captain Amazing. Alexander James is a multitalented vocalist/guitarist/producer that comes to the Ballistic Groove project after honing his skills in several bands primarily located in the East Coast. He’s studied vocals and guitar at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood and most recently graduated from the recording program in December of 2006. Brian Goldston is a veteran funk drummer born and raised in SoCal. He's played throughout LA & Hollywood. Nipsy joined on keyboards after the studio recordings of the debut CD Fuse that you hear on our MySpace & Web. Hear him live to see why his unofficial title is "Keyboard Ninja" ... deadly he be on them keys.
