20 Stories High is a Theatre Company based at METAL arts space in Liverpool, led by Co-Artistic Directors Keith Saha and Julia Samuels. We are dedicated to making excellent work which resonates with young audiences – and which exists within a context of cultural diversity and social inclusion. We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what theatre is, and what it means to young people. Working with the narrative and musical influences of the communities we work with. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------KEITH SAHA is Co-Artistic Director of 20 Stories High. He is a director, playwright, actor, musical director and Hip –Hop producer. he recently wrote and directed BABUL AND THE BLUE BEAR, a Hip-Hop Theatre Piece with Masks and Puppetry, collaborating with Horse and Bamboo.It played at CONTACT Theatre Manchester, and is due to go on a nationwide tour 2008. Other recent projects include collaborating with Improbable Theatre's Phelim McDermott on developing and facilitating Open Space Seminars with Metal and Liverpool World Museum around the issues of diversity and racism,----------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ -------- JULIA SAMUELS is Co-Artistic Director of 20 Stories High, she directed the company’s first production MAKING A DIFFERENCE. Julia previously worked as Education Producer at the National Theatre, producing a version of Dr. Faustus for young audiences for the Cottesloe.
