About Me

Hello there, I've given up on shaping this page around my art, as I never have any time to spend on it nowadays anyway. Maybe some day. Here's a quicky about myself, if you know me personally, link up with me on Facebook as well, since it has some advantages.I'm an artist working with video games. Previous games include Driver, Driver 2, Rocky and Rocky Legends. I'd like to have more time to do my own stuff, I do get a lot of ideas, but unfortunatly I'm usually short on time and energy after long days at work and in the gym.I'm quite passionate about music and try to visit clubs like Digital and WHQ in Newcastle as well as a yearly trip down to Breakspoll at Fabric in London (squirt!). My earliest memory of interest in breaks was getting Bomb the Bass' Into the Dragon album after hearing Mega Blast in the Amiga game Xenon 2. It would be a few more years until I was completely converted by early Prodigy and Chemical Brothers albums. Apart from mates, I've tried to link up to as many of the artists that I'm into (many of whom I've met, but maybe wouldn't call friends in real life). At least I'm not trying to push my rock band or sell porn.Well, not quite yet anyway...My other freakish hobby is collecting arcade games, of which I have a few hundred, but that is another story... My Interests

Breaks, art, popculture, retro, future, arcade games.

I'd like to meet:

Freaks with hair taller than their faces.

Music:

Breaks, D&B, house, breaks, hip hop and... Breaks again! I own thousands of cds and hundreds 12"s, most of which are breaks. I also download a couple of gigs worth of legal breaks mixes every week (hey, support the small artists, buy the bloody records), so I guess you can say I'm passionate, just short of obsessive about it...If you haven't heard any breaks (or think you haven't), visit www.bijoubreaks.com right now and download some free quality music.

Movies:

Most of Coen Brothers films, Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Sin City, Blade Runner, Taxi Driver, Blue Velvet, The Godfather, Apocalypse Now... The usual stuff really, although most of modern films are commercial crap, and as there is more risktaking in todays tv, I tend to prefer that.

Television:

Simpsons (first five seasons, should have been cancelled before they ruined the best show of all time), Ren & Stimpy, South park (especially the later years, funnily enough), Spaced, League of Gentlemen, Peep Show, Black Books, Father Ted, Green Wing, Scrubs, Harry Hill's TV Burp... See a theme?

Books:

Reading the Bill Hicks story when I get the time.

Heroes:

Powdered Toast Man!
