Itchy and Scratchy with audio equipment...........

About Me

The Capoeira Twins have been in demand as Producers, DJ’s and Remixers since their first bassdriven mayhem started storming dancefloors in the mid 1990’s. Born out of the legendary club night ’StumpJuice’ (one of the UK Midlands most respected and longest running nights) their quirky and qualitymusical stylings has won them fans as diverse as LAURENT GARNIER,PETE TONG and KRAFTY KUTS, throughto MR.SCRUFF, QUANTIC and RICHARD DORFMEISTER. Pete Tong has been a regular supporter of theirwork, once playing one of their tunes a record SEVEN weeks in a row on his Radio 1 show. As well asproducing their own hugely critically acclaimed ’REANSVILLE HEIGHTS’ album in 2004 they’ve also workedtheir remix magic for such acts as (amongst many others) THE SUGABABES,NU-SPRIRIT HELSINKI,PETE TONG’sMOONBABY. Sweden’s SOUND OF HABIB, cult German act FILMPALAST and Audiopharm’s BRASILELECTRO . The Sugababes loved the boys firstmix for them so much that they asked them to do another one, resulting in the Twins now classicremix of the girls’ No.1 chart single ’FREAK LIKE ME’, the vinyl of this mix now being a highlysought after collector’s item. On the TV their work has regularly featured on many shows worldwide such as CSI CRIME SCENEINVESTIGATION, BILLION DOLLAR BABES,THE AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX SHOW and TOP GEAR....to name but afew. DJ wise, this is where their first love lies and the past few years have seen them blowing up clubsand festivals allover Europe, they’re regulars on the Alpine snowboarding circuit as well as datesin their own UK of course. Their triumphant GLASTONBURY appearance in 2004 brought them to theattention of DJ ANNIE NIGHTINGALE who has now asked them to do guest mixes for her RADIO 1 SHOW notonce but twice!THE AMAZING NEW TUNE-MIXMAG SINGLE OF THE MONTH....I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V4.4
