K-Warren was always at the forefront of UK garage with a string of
radio successes to his name and he managed to take the underground into
the overground. He has since made the transition to a respected producer
writer of all genres. As an original member of the Architects, he
was jointly responsible for the Brandy & Monica remix of 'The Boy
Is Mine' and since then, K has remixed many top UK & US artists
including Whitney Houston, Emma Bunton, Christina Aguilera, Samantha
Mumba, Shola Ama, Gabrielle, Maxi Priest & Eternal.
K teamed up with Richie Dan for the hit 'Call It Fate' single on Pure
Silk and he also had has his own single 'Coming Home' featuring Lee-O (aka Leo the Lion),
out on Go! Beat / Universal. This track was a UK Top 30 hit which meant
the guys appeared on several TV programmes to promote it, including
The Big Breakfast, Nickolodeon, Disney. K's reproduction/remixes of Ed Case's 'Something In Your Eyes' and MJ Cole's 'Hold On To Me' have also been big hits, both in the clubs
and on radio.
K has written songs for his own album, has co-written with other artists
such as Edel's Tymes 4 and Inferno's Ryze and he has also remixed Lisa
Stansfield, Tymes 4, Architects and Bob Sinclair singles.
K has also completed a Sarah Whatmore remix for BMG, a Triple 8 remix
for Polydor and has completed producing Selwyn for Sony with a song
he co-wrote with Phil Pickett (of Boy George - Karma Chameleon fame)
which is to be the second single for this No.1 selling artist. He has
previously had a hit single with his remix of Selwyn's 'Rich Girl' which
went platinum last year.
Other songwriting / producing projects include with Paris (Fame Academy), Shelley Nelson, Blazin Squad, Morjac, Sistaz (girls from Big Brovas), J'Nay (MOBO Unsung Winner) and Aylin (signed to Pavarotti's production company). Niara Scarlette (no.1 hits with Girls Aloud & Sugar Babes), Sharon Woolfe (no.1 hit Sweet Like Chocolate & works with Matthew Knowles (Beyonce management), Curtis Richardson (J-Lo, LL Cool J, 3LW, Joss Stone).
K has just recently finished co-writing and producing the phenomenal Leo the Lion's album, who is The Streets/Mike Skinner's vocalist & has made many TV appearances.
On the other side of the coin, K also continues to release his own tracks,
and is also currently co-writing songs with Laine Norbury (Happy Mondays, Ian Brown, Buzz Cocks) for several bands/artists including the incredible N*A*T*L*I*A* (No.1 top R&B Myspace artist). Plus K writes regularly with the amazing vocalist & rapper 2 Ton (also wrote with some of the greats i.e. Mike Rutherford (Genesis), Terry Britten/Graham Lyle (Tina Turner), Pete Adams (Maddona), Chris Neil (Celine Dion, Westlife).
