Prolific British songwriter Laine Norburys catalogue of collaborations/co-writes includes connections with such named producers/songwriters as Dallas Austin (Michael Jackson, Madonna , Beyonce Knowles, Sugababes), K-Warren (Brandy and Monica, Maxi Priest, Emma Bunton), Dan Askew (Spooks), Mike Cross (Atomic Kitten), Dave Wood Dawood (Blue) and growing, a far cry from her days of fronting bands and being half of an original White Stripes type duo under the wing of a management company linked with Simply Red and Rowetta from Happy Mondays, and culminating in an invitation for her rock band to support the Buzzcocks on their UK 2000 tour, the same year a rock track she had written was included on a compilation of the best of Manchester Music (UK).
