Pisees (formerly known as Eraza Blade) was born in Manchester. Pisees was one of the soul founders of Manchester’s hip hop groups of the late 1990’s – Ch’ill Cru. Born to a nigerian politicain he grew up listening to diiverse genre of music from Country to Soul to Jazz to Blues, Pisees was also influenced by artist such as Arrested Development, Sunny Ade, Bob Marley, Everly Brothers, Michael Jackson, 2 Pac, Nas, N. BIG thats just to name a few. This explains his unquie style and also illustrates the diversity in his musical genres.
Pisees toured the Country briefly as a member of Ch’ill Cru before the group went their separate ways in 1999 to pursue other interests.
In 2001 after a 2year break Pisees aka Eraza Blade rose from the ashes of Ch’ill Cru to become the solo artist we now know as Pisees. The name Pisees originated from the horoscopian star sign pisces the PI representing personal Intelligence, Pi also represents the mathematical symbol numerically stands at 3.14. Pisees still Creates Rhymes Universaly using parabused, metaphysics, metaphors expression and poetific slaugters with reference to religious quotes from the different Holy Books. He deliver’s using his unique vocal sound to reflect his up bringing and teach to others his life experiences.The Concrete Jungle project by Chill Cru produced classic tracks such as struggle, CRU, Snakes, Your Sincerely, An Hour To Live and many more Chill Cru tracks.
