When The Praises Go Up, The Blessings Come Down"

About Me

Curtis Richardsson, who hails from Trenton, NJ, began his songwriting career working alongside Zelma Davis (formerly of C&C Music Factory). His track, "Power", helped Davis comeback album take the ..1 spot on the Billboard Dance Club Charts. Since his debut work with Davis, Richardson has penned tracks for artists including Dante Thomas (Elektra/WEA), Sharissa (Motown/Universal) AZ (Motown/ Universal) and 3LW (Epic). In 2003, Richardson's work with Jennifer Lopez and LL Cool J on the track, "All I Have",earned him his first number 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. The BMI Award winning cut, "All I Have", remained at number 1 for four consecutive weeks and Lopez's "This Is Me...Then" consequently sold over 7 million copies worldwide. LL Cool J's 10 album also went platinum subsequently.A truly global talent, Richardson regularly travels to London, Stockholm, Norway and Toronto writing with some of the top artists and producers around the world. He's since landed award winning cuts with artists such as Joss Stone, on her 5 million seller "Mind, Body, And Soul" (Virgin/EMI), Crystal Kay, on her gold single "As It Began"(Sony Japan), Jane (EMI Capitol Finland) , Jacksoul(Sony BMG), Rihanna,on her Multi- Platinum Certified second album "A Girl Like Me"(SRP/Island Def Jam), Agnes' Top 10 single "Champion" on her new album "Stronger"(Sony BMG Sweden), Andrea Lewis (Universal Canada), Kumi Koda's Top 5 single "Cherry Girl" on her multi-platinum album "Black Cherry"(Avex Japan), and Fanatic feat. Deborah Cox(Centaur Records), . In November 2005 Curtis' work with BMG Canada's Jacksoul earned him his first SOCAN Award for the most played R&B song for the Top 10 hit "Shady Day". April 2006, Curtis scored another Top 10 hit in Finland with the song "Sivuioreita" recorded by Jane(EMI-Capitol Finland). As member of the new hot production team "The Conglomerate", Curtis has many high profile projects to be released (here and abroad) in the upcoming year 2008.....Curtis has only just begun on his path to share his wealth of diverse talents with the world at large.
