From an early age Jordy Munoz always had a passion for the pen. Born in the South Bronx to Latino and West Indian parents, he started writing as a way to express himself beyond the normal lashing out of a young teen. With dealers in the hallway and death around the corner, he fell victim to his wild surroundings and started gang banging at the age of fifteen. Quickly realizing that the streets would lead him nowhere, he got saved in Church; quitting his original hopes of becoming a rapper and refocused his talents to writing poetry and songs. He continued to hone his talents and was quickly hired to do A&R at GoGettaz Entertainment which managed artists signed to Bad Boy. It was there that he visited his first recording studio and was instantly addicted to the creative process of making music. Since then he has penned songs for several performers including platinum artist Carl Thomas. At a very young age Jordy is already viewed by his peers as an incredibly gifted writer on the rise. His colorful words are the ink that paint songs that cover every dimension of the soul.
