Jeffrey Kobby Darko was born in 1989, into a Christian family in Ghana. In 2001 Jeffrey moved to France where he joined the gospel choir of his local church. At the age of nine, Jeffrey had already discovered his talent for singing and in the same year had performed in front of a crowd in the "Theatre National De Macon" the biggest gospel event of the year. In 2005 Jeffrey moved to Britain, where he chose to pursue his passion for singing and performing. Whilst living in Britain, Jeffrey joined the “World Harvest Church Choir†were local rap group “Joel’s Army†acknowledged his talent. After inviting him to record some tracks and proving his ability to sing Jeffrey joined “Joel’s Army†adding his vocals to the already successful group. To date, Jeffrey has continued to demonstrate his talent, through a combination of solo school performances, whilst continuing his work with “World Harvest Church Choir†and “Joel’s Armyâ€. Jeffrey is currently in the process of recording his debut solo album at the same time as promoting himself and his music through a series of local performances. In the future Jeffrey aspires to continue his work at a higher level, making a name for himself by demonstrating his outstanding ability to sing and perform, and setting himself apart from others with the same ambitions.
