LeRuz is an upcoming R&B artist a true native of L.A, California migrated to N.Y.C in 1994. She lived in Washington Heights for a short period of time before she moved to the South Bronx. LeRuz at 12yrs old studied and performed Opera for 3yrs then found interest in dancing. LeRuz was part of a Latin Caribbean dance group for 2 years. She performed at the Latin Day Parade, Lehman College, Botanical Gardens and etc. In the summer of 2007 LeRuz joined the Alvin Ailey staff helping children sharpen their dance skills where she also choreographed for a number. LeRuz decided to get into the world of runway modeling in which she modeled for M Designs, Akademiks, Baby Phat, Johnny Blaze and etc. After modeling LeRuz joined Amas Musical Theatre and was part of the production of "Godspell," where she played as The Seductress "Sonia," which followed other productions such as "Footloose" as Rusty,and her first leading role on "On The Town," as "Ivy Smith" Ms. Turnstiles For June. LeRuz also had the honor of working with other Broadway stars in Amas Musical Theatre Benefit Productions such as "Damn Yankees" and "Broadway Soul". LeRuz has also done a couple of episodes of Law & Order, and commercials for the VMA's and Virgin Mobile. Stay tuned for an upcoming album.
