Emanuel Olsson

Songwriter & Producer

About Me

Emanuel started his professional music carrier 11 years ago. As a musical director, pianist and bassplayer he was very sought for in the swedish music scene, and still is. Since 2002 he is a member of the unique studio complex Cosmos in Stockholm, Sweden.
One of the first things he did at Cosmos was to co-produce a new version of the song "Peace Train" for Yusuf Islam (formly known as Cat Stevens) on the charity album Hope (War Child). After that he has been writing songs for such artists as Angel Lopez (OLE), Shirley Clamp (Lionheart), Julie (EMI Denmark), Eye Q (EMI Denmark), Raúl (Horus Spain), Br’Oz (Columbia Brazil), Wanessa Camargo (Universal Brazil), Kandlbauer (Universal Schweiz), Victor (Vale Music Spain) and many more....

2006 was a great productive year for Emanuel. Together with rock legend Aldo Nova he produced two songs for Garou (SonyBmg Canada) and one for Marilou (SonyBmg Canada). Latin superstar David Bisbal (Vale Music Spain) recorded the song "Cuidar nuestro amor" on his new album "Premonición". The album sold tripple platinum in Spain in just one(!) week. He has written and produced two songs for swedish Idol winner Agnes (SonyBmg), inluding the single "Champion". The song "A Thousand days", which he wrote together with Christian Leuzzi and Aldo Nova, was recorded by Clay Aiken (RCA) on his gold selling album "A Thousand Different Ways". Together with songwriter Aleena Gibson he wrote the song "Var han min" for MAMMA MIA-star Gunilla Backman (Bonnier music sweden) on her album "Nära dig", released in october 2006.

In 2007 he has so far produced two songs for swedish IDOL artist Erik Segerstedt (SonyBmg). One cover and one orignal song that Emanuel co-wrote with Erik. He wrote and produced the song "Loneliness" for Sanna Nielsen (Lionheart). Her very-best album SANNA 11-22, which also includes a few new songs, was released the 7 March 2007.
