Currently, "SJK" is just me (Soren) as a song-writer and music producer, based in Stockholm, Sweden. However, I am open to collaborations with other song-writers or producers. My goal is to spend more time on music in the future writing music and producing songs for a variety of artists.
So far I have written some songs with a Swedish rock band, "250kg kärlek". In the summer of 2006 we released a single ("Naken") and it stayed 7 weeks in the Swedish top 10 and in 4th place as its highest position. Those guys are a little WiLd and CrAzY, but great fun. Hopefully, people will understand the humor in their songs/performances. I occasionally play keyboards with the band.
Right now I am working on many different types of songs (rock, pop, "schlager", hard rock, etc). For next year I will submit many new songs to the Eurovision song contests in different countries. We´ll see if any of the songs make it to the competition... More info soon...
I am a graduate from Texas A&M University-Kingsville (Go Javelinas!!!). In a previous life I ran the 400 meter hurdles for Finland and that took up alot of my time from the mid 80´s to the end of the 90´s. In the States I ran track (400 meter hurdles + relays) for Blinn College in Brenham, Texas (our team were National champions 8 years in a row... Go Bucs!!!) and for Texas A&M University-Kingsville. I finished my athletic career at the end of the 90´s. And, now I am trying to make a transition into music as a song-writer and a producer. My "day-job" is a teacher (PE and music). I am originally from the swedish part of Finland.
