Simon.S (formerly known as Szymon S) - a dj, producer and promoter. He was born in 1982 in Warsaw where he had his first contact with music. He used to be successful ballroom dancer trained by Agustin Egurrola - head of the VOLT, one the best dancing teams. In the year of 16 with couple of his mates he started Tandem band. He was a beatmaker as well as a Mc.
In the end of the nineties he became interested in minimal. At that time he started producing his own music. In Sep 2000, after Roger Sanchez party Szymon turned himself more into the house music. Few months later he bought turntables and started practicing. His first appearance was at the Apartament No.1 club in Warsaw. The venue was organized by Thandile booking agency which started to promote Szymon.
In September 2003 he opened his own agency called Different Colors. He played with many known and respected DJ's including Pete Gooding, Greg Vickers, Luke Brancaccio, Micky Slim, Barry Ashword (Dub Pistols), Luke Fair, Cut La Roc, Marcus James, David Duriez, Greg Benz, Paolo Mojo, Stewart Rowell, Livio, Andreas Holscer aka Alvarez and Drew. He played in clubs around Poland and in France at the Avalanche Club. Besides playing in clubs he's a frequent guest of many radio shows: Pitek Weekendu Pocztek (Bert & Dreddy), PlayMix (Easy & Hywel), Vibes (Rafa Wodzimski) on Radiostacja and HouseMix on Radio Bis. In the meantime Szymon was also a host of the House Vibes at Radio Bogoria.
In March 2004 he became resident of the Vanilla Club, in September - Starlight Cafe. From January 2006 he's playing at the `HouseMix On Tour` series patronage by Radio Bis. In June 2006 he bacame a resident of the Piekarnia - one of the most famous clubs in Poland.
Currently Szymon is focused on producing his own tracks. They are already appreciated by DJs like Luke Brancaccio, Greg Vickers, Stewart Rowell (Streetlife Djs), Paul Thomas, Funkagenda or Livio. In his sets you can find an interesting mix of deep, electro and acid house.
