Simon is a young and talented Dj. He adopted his artistic pseudonym - Hanna Bernard - in honour of his parents. He is 23 only but the list of his musical achievements is quite long. When he was 19 he decided to leave home and try to live on his own. First worked as a salesman in one of the trade mark clothes store but soon got to the Sonobar club in Bydgoszcz. Thats where his adventure with music - his eternal great passion - starts. Playing in Sonobar (that time one of the best clubs in Poland) helped Simon gain experience and recognition on the club scene. The year 2005 brought even more changes to his life - it was then when he arrived to Warsaw and began a brand new work. And that was it - the most ever known Polish club - Piekarnia. Simon was an artistic manager and a resident DJ of this venue. Later he became the manager and a resident in one of the best club in Warsaw - Vinyl. Now he is dealing with the own agency, firmly focusing on playing gigs.
Behind the decks Simon feels excellent. His sets mix different music styles from deep house to tech-house, electro with a bit of progressive and minimal. His spinning style and special contact with the crowd are always making an amazin and positive atmosphere. Simon is neither attached to any record company nor to any artist - the only exception is Bjork, his music love.
Simon has played alongside such famous DJ as: Seb Fontaine, Rene Amesz, Funkagenda, Chus & Ceballos, Add2Basket, Oscar De Rivera, Luke Fair, Rowan Blades, Steve Porter, Trophy Twins, Martijn Ten Velden, Silicone Soul, Carlos Manaca, Roman Lieske, Spencer Parker, James Talk, Bad Boy Bill, Paul Harris, Tocadisco, ATFC, Paul Thomas, King Unique, Desyn Masiello, Trophy Twins, Miguel Pelittero, Bini & Martini, Sharam Jey and Tom Novy to name but a few.
In 2006 he was a resident DJ of Metaxa cycle “Keep the Moment†and of the events sponsored by “Burn†energetic drink. In the summer 2006 he was also a resident DJ of “The Beach Bols†beach bar in Warsaw. He played on gigs organized for such brands as: Miller, Marlboro, L&M and also on the Outdoor Clubbing Experience festival in Bydgoszcz. In January 2007 Simon went abroad to play in Likwid club, Bahrain. In February he visited Munich and in March – Fluid Bar, London. Simon also writes articles to the “Moment†lifestyle magazine and is a co-producer of Alternatice Dance project.
