I was lost when I met you on the road to Larissa

About Me

Reborn somehow on a windswept night somehwere in the 1960's when warm rain fell upon this earth in little Cedar Grove. Me, standing upon symbolic balcony looking out with spiritual eyes upon historical parking lot, Candy Store, St. Catherine's of Siena Church and Pompton Avenue as mystical traffic streamed by, I stood in wide eyed, naked wonder.......... Some kind of deperately lonely, unfathomable longing for things romantic and transcendant came over me and a longing for deliverence from abstract, negative forces I had no control over ....................... I rode in on a tumultuous energy not of my own making and spent the first twenty years of my life asking "WHAAAAAAAAAATTT????????????"................ Had to learn to navigate a torrent of arbitrary rules, regulations and log jams, meteor showers, interminable droughts, cruelty, Beatlemania, impossible dreams and mind numbing growing pains............................ fighting for my life from within the fiery furnace, wrestling with angels, staggering through mine fields, holding on to some kind of secret truth and hoping to survive long enough to tell it to the world ...............Now what? How do I crack the code of INFORMATION OVERLOAD, a Sunami that has engulfed humankind. Can a whisper of Truth upset the Apple Cart of Disinformation and Falsehood here upon Planet Earth or are we doomed to an irreverseable fate? Ancient inscriptions written upon the walls of my heart and windows of my soul cry out for translation. What else to do but testify to my story??????? I was dying of thirst so I came in from the Wilderness. Hope you can hear me through the din.....................

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: EZFolk.com/audio/bands/1679/
Band Members: Steve Sherry. "California Anthem," "Only Love Can Redeem You Now," "Please Do Not Be" and "If Love Itself Came Walking" recorded at Seven South in Santa Barbara. Keyboards added and remixed at Shiur Audio in Passaic, New Jersey.
Influences: The Beatles - Bob Dylan - Gordon Lightfoot
Sounds Like: Dylan rocked my world the first time I heard "Positively 4th St." Soon after, "A Hard Rains Gonna Fall" sucked me through some kind of artisitc/spiritual vortex. When I first heard "If You Could Read My Mind" by Lightfoot, I thought, "nobody, but nobody could write a song like that without having incredible depth. I was right. How about Leonard Cohen? How many songwriter/poets actually stand for something? Read some of his poetry and you'll know what I mean.
