1. I sound like a Bohemian Rocker Chic. So think of me as the raspy version of Sheryl Crow with a twist of Joan Jett and the modern pop sounds of a Kelly Clarkson
2. I'm scared of Tom Cruise. I feel like if I made eye-contact with him, he would see into my soul, and suck out my brains using his Scientology ray gun.
3. I grew up in NJ and I live in NJ.
+ And No, I do not have big hair (my 6th grade perm does not count, because I was ill-advised by the popular girls).

+And yes, I am %100 Italian. I am named after Gina Lollabrigida, an Italian Film actress. And I didn't change my last name because I am proud of being Italian, so I opted to keep the vowel at the end of my name. Correct way to say it: (More -res- ee)
4. I do not like Mayo, cream cheese, or sour cream. Now, I know some of you creamy, white substance-condiment-loving freaks are going to bombard me until I change my mind...Please don't. As of now, it's not going to happen. If, by chance, I do begin to like the flavor of creamy white substances, it will be at my pace and by my choosing.
5. Honestly, when I was five, I DID NOT know I wanted to be a singer-songwriter. I still thought being Rainbow Brite and Wonderwoman were options, so I was like screw singing I want to fly through the air on a white unicorn and/or wear amazing American flag underpants over my tights...I mean, singing, who? songwriter what?
6. 1 out every 6 guys was straight at the FU Lincoln Center campus so, that made paying attention to my studies a bit easier. I studied acting and writing and interned everyplace I could (ABC daytime, Abrahms Artist Agency,and Bug Music) so as to learn as much as I could about the entertainment business. During and after graduation, I auditioned, did extra work, dabbled in modeling, and started writing music and screenplays. I also graduated Cum Laude...I am such a nerd.
7. I really got into music because an ex-boyfriend said I couldn't be in his band, because music was for guys. Needless to say, I hate when boys say I can't do something. I didn't think I'd fall in love with the craft of songwriting, so much, but I did. It is difficult, and rewarding, lovely, and messy, and constantly changing...all things I wish I could be, and all things I already am.
8. I love the color yellow. I feel most at home at the beach. And if I could wear a bikini with a sarong all day, every day I would. It just feels the most natural to me.
9. My first album was an Elvis Presley Christmas album, which I received as a Christmas present, at the age of five. I was in love with him for awhile until I realized he was dead. That was really weird.
