It all started for me as a kid in the 1970s, listening to my parents collections of Kraftwerk & Jean Michael Jarre and my own discovery, Vangelis. Come the early 80's, I was hooked on Electro/Hip Hop but then moved into Jack and House in '86/87 and began tuning in to the Pirates such as JFM/Horizon and Solar FM.
In 1988 Acid/Techno House had become a phenomenon and I spent every weekend clubbing to the sounds of Todd Terry, Corporation of One, Jolly Roger; the list is endless ... the next thing I knew, I was selling tickets for Sunrise, Energy, Weekend World... and raving every weekend at the biggest illegal warehouse parties and field raves ever to happen in the UK. This went on until 1990, when the Criminal Justice Bill pushed us into legal clubland and consequently into 'plastic raves' (ahh that rainy day at Trafalgar Square)
As time went on, I got into mixing and 'landed' a job at Total Music Records in East London, and also Soapbar Records, promoting and producing, which consequently led to me getting a slot on London's Pulse 90.6 FM in 1991 and Eruption 101.3FM in 1995, including numerous slots & residencies across London & the South East throughout the '90s including Labyrinth Dalston Lane, Desire/2000AD, Roller Express, to name a few.
At present, I dj on eruption 101.3 fm / www.eruptionhardcore.co.uk playing Old Skool '88-'94 to Trance & Funky/Tech Breakz '07 and have various guest slots across London and the South East etc
