Let me tell you about me. I'll try and keep this brief but informative :o) I'm a little bit quirky me! I'm certainly up for having a laugh/fun, maybe too much sometimes though I have to admit that these days I am more sensible (alas I cannot handle week in - week out all nighters, id die). I am slightly mad (in a good way not in the physco sense) and one day will be one of these old ladies who escape's from her home/asylum and wander's aimlessly asking 'Which way to Dalston Lane'. I look forward to it LOL, wouldn't mind being stuck in '92. I'm an original Raver, you know white gloves, whistles, horns, mad chases round the M25. I've been doing it pretty much since the beginning of the era and still give it some now. I spent about two years of my life every Friday & Saturday night in Labrynth (AKA The Four Aces, 12 Dalston Lane). That club wasn't just a place where i got off my tits, it was a way of life. To those in the know - know... to those that dont - wont - EVER! So, if you're not so much in the know I will never be able to relay what it meant, though I'll probably have a bloody good try LOL! Very, very sadly it has come to the time where Hackney council have pulled down the beautiful Dalston Theatre that housed The Four Aces. I personally will never forgive or forget this. Shame on you. Shame :o(
Other venue's I used to frequent were the Tasco Warehouse, Camden Palace, The Astoria and Bagley's. Oh those were the days were they not (sighs).
So I love my (Oldskool) Hardcore, and Drum and Bass. To be honest I like a bit of everything really.
These days I still go to Fabric and also to Raindance at the SEOne. I like to go to gigs, I like to walk in the forest, read, chill out, spend time with my family and friends and to spend time with my beautiful nephew amoungst other things...
I'm a typical Gemini, two sides to me. The one side of me is Hedonistic, confident, eccentric, caring, loyal, open minded (but dont think you can take advantage of this), loveable, funny, interesting, unselfish, sexual, sociable, the other side can be melancholy, deep, shy, twisted, slightly complicated, and boy do I think too much! Sometimes I just like to sit back and take things in around me and other times I like to jump in and I love to be silly. I do believe that life is too short and that if you want something you go out there and get it... or at least have a bloody good try.
