Malcolm Mcclaren and The World Famous Supreme Teams Buffalo Girls 82 changed my whole outlook on music,how I studied that video,the dance moves were unique and so was the whole sound.In my opinion the ex Sex Pistols manager (Mclaren) brought all three Hip hop elements to this country.(music,graffiti,bboy)I also feel that the true pioneers of electro music were Kraftwerk who had been producing this sound since the very early seventies maybe earlier, Afrika Bambaataa remixed Kraftwerks TransEurope Express and came up with the timeless Planet Rock.
I was soon pissing my parents off bigtime by moving their furniture and laying down the lino to master Windmills and various other BBoy moves,breakdancing to the likes of KOOL DJ HERC, SHA ROCK, HASHIM, GRANDMIXER DST ,WIZZ KID, THE REAL ROXANNE, GRANDMASTER FLASH AND THE FURIOUS FIVE, RUN DMC, THE WORLD CLASS WRECKIN CREW, MANTRONIX, MELLE MEL, MC SHAN, SUGARHILL GANG, ARTHUR BAKER, AFRIKA BAMBAATAA, HERBIE HANCOCK, CYBERTRON, PLANET PATROL, DJ RED ALERT, TRECHEROUS 3, NEWCLEUS,GREG WILSON and PAUL HARDCASTLE,not forgetting the Streetsounds Electro compilations thanks to Morgan Khan.
