The dance crew The Mighty Deadly Venoms was founded in 1997 by Willy
"Chillski" Perez,Enrique "Sero" Cruz, & Jesus "Cuba" Gonzales.With over 20 years of experience in the dance community,this three,well accomplished dancers decided to join forces & assemble together what is possibly one of the most exciting & innovative dance groups in Hip Hop Culture today.Recognized for their keen sense of style & innovative dance routines, this group of dancers have played a major role in the growth of the Miami Hip Hop dance community, particulary the Electric Boogie/Poppin' Styles & Brooklyn Uprock Styles.Incorporating a high level of energy & proffesionalism into their repertoir, this Crew is known to cause excitement whenever & whereever they perform.Along with other members of the group which include Gato,E.T. Pop,Shmoo,Mendez,Roborick,Ill Kid,Atari,Fierce 1, Jay Supreme,Warlock, Boogieboy Blur, & Glyphiksthe Venoms have been featured in many tv programs such as Ritmo Y Sabor,Control,Deco Drive, & The Roof. They have appeared in Telemundo,Fox,Univision,Mun2,& WAMI TV networks.They have also appeared in a Dance & Cultural educational program for Clase TV ( A Hispanic cable tv channel ) called 1,2s Vez in an episode called: Hip Hop-Estas En La Onda?Serving both as instructors & choreographers as well as cunsultants.They were also featured in a Safe Sex Infomercial for a product called STRAPPED,an MTV commercial,a documentary named Darkbeat,The Documentary "RENEGADES", & have also had a small part in the MGM motion picture The Substitute.In recent years The Venoms have also opened up & performed with such noted recording artists as Planet Patrol,Soul Sonic Force,Will To Power,Shannon,Newcleus,Slick Rick & Doug E Fresh,KRS 1, The Sugarhill Gang,Debbie Deb,Wyclef Jean,Lauren Hill,Pretty Poison,Tego Calderon,Miami Sound Machine,etc,etc.They have also appeared in several music videos such as The Spam Allstars " Descarga Gusana",Planet Patrol's "Long Live Freestyle",Agape's "Peace=Solution", & Electronic recording artist Exzakt's "City Of Bass".The Venoms have also done charity work,performing for the Shake A Leg Foundation & have starred in the critically acclaimed show Habibi & Habibi 2:The Remix.Other major performances include The 1998 Caribean Festival in Bayfront Park,Beyond 2002 Festival,B Boy Masters Pro Am 1997-2005,Ultra Music Festival,Barneys Grand opening in South Beach,Club Pawnshop's grand opening, & countless of othersThey have also appeared in several newspapers & magazines such as The Miami New Times,Street Magazine,The Miami Herald, The Sun Sentinel, The Source Magazine as well as other smaller publications.Currently, The Mighty Deadly Venoms are working on an album.Their 1st single will be released sometime in 2006 & are getting ready to open up a Hip Hop Dance School in the near future to teach their unique dance style.
