I grew up in East London and got into music at about seven listening to my Mum and Dads Motown and John Holt albums.I used to play all the records at the christmas parties.Then came electro and Hip Hop,with Africa Bambatta and Man Parrish,riding along on our BMX's with a ghetto blaster.Having Breakdancing burns in the streets to Herbie Hancocks Rocket.I was blown away by the technology,808 beats banging away.I remember listening to D-Train,BB Q and Loose Ends on my Sony Walkman cassete player,how its all changed.At 16 came Public Enemy,LL Cool J,Ice T and Run DMC.Then I heard the TB 303 squelching along with the 909 beats,that was Acid.I used to go Camden Palais on a Friday with Chris Paul, and Astoria on a saturday with Pete Tong and Nicky Holloway did Their awesome clubnight "Trip" I was Hooked then on..I got my first set of decs In 88 and started buying Acid house 12's.I DJ'd at local bars and house party's around my area, then I got my first proper DJ gig on Centreforce 88.3fm it was a top London pirate radio station back in the day and is back on air now on 88.4fm..It is sounding very good again.. More recently I Have DJ'd at various London clubs for Dirty,Sexy Exit,Mother Funkers,Elegently Wasted and Tangerine Dream.Also,Oracle @ the Opium lounge alongside Joey Negro,Bobby and Steve and Kier of House FM.I play Funky Electro house and am working on a few new tunes of my own,under the alias "Dual Frequency".
