Finding my place...in bass!

About Me

Stating there is not much to say about me is perhaps misleading. I continually tell people I am "wierd" and even that is perhaps too simple of an answer. So, who am I? Why not get to know me and then you can tell ME who you think I am. You might just help me figure it out!

My Interests

Ozark Blues Society

I'd like to meet:

Blues lovers of all ages...from near and far!

Music:

My favorite (of all time) non-blues oriented band is REO Speedwagon...beyond that my newest listening interests are: Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddie King, Susan Tedeschi, Shemekia Copeland, and especially all the local and indie artists I find on my internet explores! These folks are the ones keeping the blues alive!

Television:

Only watch if I know some cool band is on Austin City Limits or some show has a special guest I want to see...

Heroes:

My hero is my husband Roy, because he keeps trying to figure me out...and even when he can't he loves me anyway. I also greatly admire any woman...heck any PERSON who is not afraid to be who he/she is even if it does not meet the "standard" for what society defines as "normal."

My Blog

Down to the Crossroads

This year as Roy and I made out (hopefully) annual pilgrimage to the heart of the blues we dug even deeper.  We went a day early and veered off I-40 and headed off into the depths of the Mississi...

A side note about riding "lessons learned"

This past weekend the rain seemed to be staying at bay enough for me to take the bike to Rogers for it's scheduled 2500 mile service.  The weather seemed to be staying stable with the rain just a...

I can't decide if it's my being " free time challenged," or that if I had written this all in one post it would have been W-A-Y too long...but here I am either way writing part 4 of my experiences fro...
