About Me

Let's see, what can I tell you about me? I live in a rural area and I love it here. I have three children, all grown. Tiffany lives in Tampa (for the moment) and works for Lockheed Martin. We call her our nomad as she tends to move around a lot. Heather, our CPA, is married, lives here and is the mother of twins. A boy and a girl. The twins will be four in July and are so wonderful! We get to see them all of the time!! Her husband Kelley works for Goodyear. Wayne our youngest has just been hired to work at Goodyear too! It is a much better paying job than the one he had before. His vocational school degree is really coming in handy for him! Wayne got married in October 2007 to a wonderful woman, Amanda, and we are so happy for them! She is already like a daughter to me! My husband is a businessman and has been very successful. He is talking about retirement soon. We would like to travel a bit and really enjoy being together, so I hope it happens. I am retired from the NASA ERC (Educator Resource Center). At that job, I held teacher workshops, showing Educators how to use the NASA Educational Materials in the classroom. I still do that occasionally, but mainly I work with students now. I am an Aerospace Educator. I really LOVE it. I've done this work for over twenty years! Wow, time really flies doesn't it! I'm looking forward to meeting many new friends here in myspace!I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

My interest include music (listening, not playing), bowling, baseball (go Diamondbacks!!), astronomy, watching shuttle launches and being with family and friends.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet a lot of people! I guess the list would include, Randy Johnson, John Young, Gene Kranz, Alice Cooper and Walter Ray Williams, Jr.Here is a little something special from REO Speedwagon featuring my friend Bruce Hall!

Music:

I am an REO Speedwagon fan!!! Bruce Hall is my all time and always favorite. He is a great musician and a wonderful person! I'm also a big fan of Def Leppard, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Styx, Bryan Adams, Meat Loaf, Alice Cooper, David Bowie, Bowling For Soup, Day of Fire, Ligion, Green Day, DAUGHTRY, Bon Jovi, Collin Raye and Jimmy Buffett. My favorite song of all time is "River of Dreams"

Movies:

I HATE sad movies and I'm NOT a big fan of Chick-Flicks. I like action-adventure movies and I'm a BIG, BIG, BIG Star Trek fan. I like to laugh at movies, so I like comedy too.

Television:

I watch House, Psych, Monk, Burn Notice, General Hospital and the CSI shows. I also like Criminal Minds, plus I've just gotten hooked on Dexter! It sounds like like I watch a lot of TV, but I rarely get to see these shows. :-) I'm just too busy!

Books:

I like to read biography's mostly. Not much of a romantic fiction fan.

Heroes:

Jesus is my first hero. I can't belive everything He has done for me. My Earthy hero was my Mother. She always had a word of encouragement and a smile to share, even though she was in great pain. I miss you Mom.
