The Flatmates - Original and best...

About Me

Formed in Bristol in 1985, the Flatmates released a string of singles and album on The Subway Organization label, and recorded 3 sessions for BBC Radio 1, including 2 for the legendary John Peel. The band took an extended sabbatical through the 1990's, with occasional re-releases, but the pile of songs continued to grow. In 2004 Clairecords released "Love and Death", which was followed in 2005 by Cherry Red's "Potpourri". The Flatmates are currently recording a stash of new songs.
Lyrics and comments have been added to the songs above and "Shimmer" and "I Could Be In Heaven" can be downloaded.
