Influences: I was also involved with 2 other bands The Balloon Farm who released one demo - the Apathy e.p that got released as a single on Melle Weller Produkte records in Germany, and as a cassette single on Elefant Records in Spain. As well as tracks elsewhere - again including Sunday.
Also recorded with a band called Dolores Haze that had singles out on Elefant & Sunday too - as well as appearing on compilations.
As far as I know there are no MySpace pages for these bands. Well, I haven’t done any at least!
Various influences on all these bands...
Most notably The Smiths, The Velvet Underground & My Bloody Valentine.
A list of bands I like, and have been influenced by would be endless - from Nick Cave to Hefner, from Adam & The Ants to The Field Mice. The Fall to Big Star. Even electronica - Momus, Ladytron, Japan..
Music is so diverse. With the onset of cheap digital recording, any band can now make quality records from their own homes.
Theres always something wonderful just around the corner..
Here is the video of Betswy Song (Coming Home) that was made by friend & film-maker Gregory Pizzi in 2005.
