Broken Robots

About Me

Broken Robots were formed in 2004 by Mark Woodward (vocals/guitars) and Damion Bridson (vocals/guitars) and joined by Annie Parsons (vocals/piano/) early in 2005. They became a four-piece in Autumn 2005 when they were joined by Chris Eaves (drums) and then a five-piece when they they were joined by Annie's brother, Ben Parsons (bass). Their sound has been described as 'a dreamy, delicious wall of noise...eerie, yet sexy', and 'like a Beach Boys for the cybernetic age'.Broken Robots have now set up their own independent label - Landscape Records - their debut e.p. will be the label's first release. At present, the band are working on and recording tracks for the e.p. soon to be released. Their debut album will be released later this year. For more details on the forthcoming releases, go to http://www.freewebs.com/landscaperecords/index.htmBroken Robots are also contributing to a Red House Painters tribute album, due Spring/Summer, 2006.Inbetween recording their debut e.p. and album, the band will be playing gigs in the UK, followed by a short US tour in 2006. More details to follow soon.More Broken Robots songs can be heard at the following... Broken Robots on iSOUND.COM ,www.download.com/brokenrobots and
