The Floozies are : Daisy Windsor, guitar and vocals. Paula Welham:sax and flute. Sue Szymanski:bodhran and ethnic percussionBased in Suffolk, The Floozies play mainly original acoustic material with unusual combinations of instruments.If you like Eddie Reader, Beth Orton, Karine Polwart then this is the band for you.The Floozies are well known for their energetic contemporary folk, melting sensitive lyrics with cool jazzy riffs and ethnic percussion.Following the success of their first c.d, they have recently recorded and released their latest c.d; Dragonfly. This was launched after some fantastic support and air play on Radio Suffolk(thank you Steven Foster). It includes, after many requests to record it "The Fat Song". If you like your food, and can never get enough:) this is the song for you.If you would like a copy of this, or their first c.d you can email the The Floozies on info@the floozies.co.uk.
