About Me

Myspace Contact Tables Lyrics
Being dynamic is essential to make it in today’s cut-throat world of the DJ. Lee Hiro throughout his decade of mixing has never been concerned with what the most popular style of music is at the time and appreciates many genres. This love of diversity in music is what has led him to play at many events that a more short-sighted DJ would have missed out on.
Lee Hiro’s current favoured style is a warped bastardisation of breaks and electro house, relishing the groove of a syncopated kick drum and the contrast of the stomp of a four to the floor beat often broken up by sharp snares all backed with epic bass. His versatility has made him a notable warm up DJ able to get the early crowd grooving to funky breaks as well as holding down a fresh and exciting peak set that guarantees drool on the dance floor, often his own.
Recently Hiro’s travels have seen him support Krafty Kuts, the Freestylers, Meat Katie, Dopamine, Tayo, Hexadecimal, Pete Jordan, Evil Nine, the Groove Diggers, General Midi and Napt to name a few As well as headline events around the UK and even play multiple times at the Amsterdam Queen’s Day festivals.
You are most likely to catch him at his current residency of the myriad of Spectrum events around the UK or writing reviews for the world’s biggest breakbeat internet forum www.nuskoolbreaks.co.uk.
