Im a fully qualified Master Scuba Diver Trainer and Adavnced Trimix Diver, with nearly 3000+ hours underwater. I love underwater photography and videography. Big Solo Tech dives down past 100m and exploring deep water shipwrecks. I have travelled the world as a Dive Instructor and been able to dive in some of the best loactions. I also have a passion for surfing and enjoy nothing better then long sunset sessions catching waves with my friends.
After playing the drums at school, Will literally gave up all notions of traditional music overnight when he discovered Drum N Bass.
Double U first got into dance music back in the mid to late 90’s when he started throwing and playing at illegal raves in the local area.
Double U now owns and runs Streetwise Music, one of the biggest retailers in the world of breakbeat and drum n bass.
After playing out regularly as a DnB DJ, he has now put that alter ego to bed and is concentrating on the Breaks scene.
Double U has been Dj’ing now for over 9 years. During this time he has held residencies at a number of clubs. Which has found him regularly playing along side some of the biggest names in dance music including such as Pendulum, Andy C, Goldie as well as the masters of the breaks underground like Adam Freeland, Rennie Pilgrem, Meat Katie, Krafty Kuts, The Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors and The Freestylers.
Anyone who has experienced his breaks DJ sets over the last couple of years at clubs round the world or seen the magic he works on the dancefloor will be in no doubt that this man knows what it takes to get a party going. His special blend of funk-fuelled breaks and tearout-anthems has become favorites to many a partygoers.
As well as a weekly radio show on the award winning breaks station NSB and current DJ obligations sees Double U busy in to 2008.
