WutEva Records was formed in a dream like state to indulge a passion for music of a dance stylie nature and we aren’t talking about ballroom dancing either. Just think deep, dirty house accompanied by the lush and diverse sounds of beats and breaks with the odd bit of electro thrown in.
The catalyst is naturally a rather dirty groove, the rest, well that just comes later. The WutEva family sound is played out across the board, with its very own signature sound and style being heard in the bedroom to the club. WutEva sign what they like, which means they won't lose their sound or ethos they aspire to chasing the next big thing. In other words, they get to keep their vision AND can be a little self indulgent with the nature of their releases. Put it this way if they don’t like it, why should anyone else?
WutEva are fortunate enough to have some of the finest and newest talent on the block lending a helping hand, as well as a support network of friends, family, pets AND a top distribution company called Z-AUDIO looking after the welfare of the label. With all of this help, support and advice;
WutEva Records is on the road to mini world domination.
So far WutEva records has seen releases from Ben & Lex, Robosapiens, Dopamine, Kickflip, Kovacs, Hoffman, Alex Church, Koru Inu and Wax Equestrian.
What next? Well after a well earned summer holiday, a lot of red wine and on the back of the success of its radio show on the legendary net station that is BREAKSFM, WutEva Records decided to hang up its microphone and go back to its roots and concentrate on making music that allowed the label to explore different genres.
With future releases in the pipe line from Andy.D, Sound of Habib, Hiro, Curl & Dean, Mike Lennon and Nectarios (to name but a few) who knows where WutEva Records will end up…. so watch this space kids!
Welcome to the world of WutEva Records!
Take it easy…
