Cadence was brought about by Hiro and Phreq1c3, residents of the multiple international award winning event SPECTRUM who regulary play alongside acts including the Freestylers, Meat Katie, Evil Nine as well as at some of the other biggest breakbeat events around the UK and further.
Filling the musical void in Loughborough, Cadence neanderthals in with the subtlety of an orangutan on PCP. Bringing the finest funky, dirty electro and breakbeat sounds with a twist of turntablism and funk.
In a short space of time Cadence has force-fed it's alternative sounds to the unsuspecting public of Loogabarooga. Cadence is now gaining attention from some of the bigger names in breakbeat and this will be reflected in the coming line-ups.
In past events the Cadence decks have seen the likes of Andy McAllister, MC JP (Splank & Groundlevel Breaks) and Mikey Silo & Sometimes Sean (Silo Recordings, Breaks FM)
What has Cadence got in store for you all next?................Well we're glad you asked, plans for live broadcasts on the worlds biggest internet breakbeat radio station Breaks FM which will transmit the Cadence vibe to thousands across the globe. A multitude of Spectrum residents are penciled in as well as talent from all over the country including Funkbudha (Fragilebreaks.nl, NSBradio.co.uk), Clodhoppa (Ebb, Midnight Recordings, Jardim, Wuteva, Breaks FM), Andy D (Porno Breaks, MOS Radio), Steve MacCabe (Punch Drunk Records) and the return of Andy Mc & JP.
