About Me

So this one time, I was really bored and seriously disliking MySpace's baby blue and buff peach colour scheme, so I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 . And I got to wondering: why is Tom all casual when he greets you to the site, but when it comes to editing your page he's suddenly "Thomas?" Does he just take page-customizing that seriously? Does he actually like the colour scheme of baby blue and buff peach? Does anyone?

My Interests

I LIKE TO: Draw, write, act, paint, take photos, sing, make stuff, talk in funny voices, play computer games, eat, drink, sleep, stay awake, make fun of people I secretly want to be like, be right. I'M INTO: Movies, books, comics, art, theater, martial arts, ancient history, astronomy, quantum physics, interior design, fashion, animals, food, vodka, manners. LIFE WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT: insomnia, angry non-sensical rants, irony, bad puns, beauty, paranoia, logic, rhetoric, making long and unnecessarily organized lists, watching stupid people get yelled at, caffeine. Lots and lots of caffeine.

I'd like to meet:

All the people I'm stalking...

No "New Country" or "Adult Contemporary," no boy bands (althoug Il Divo is good for a laugh), no fake jazz (if you don't know what I mean, you probably listen to it), and I hate Nickleback, Metallica. I like David Bowie, Tom Waits, Madonna, Bjork, Guns 'n' Roses, Sarah McLachlan, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Chet Baker, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Charlie Parker, the Doors, all the Gilbertos, Stan Getz, Pearl Jam, the Beatles (duh), Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground, Joy Division, Johnny Cash, Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix, B-52's, the Cure, Depeche Mode, the Bell Orchestra... oh, there's more... Who exactly was, or is, St. Patrick? Someone explained it to me once... the patron saint of booze, shamrocks, and the colour green? Why does he get his own special day? And who cares? Bring on the Gre...

It's time to put on makeup, it's time to light the lights...

Oscar night was last night. Wasn't it magical? Seriously, I do love the couture circus of parading PR and politics known as the Academy Awards. Like any tribal ritual, the ceremony reminds us not of w...
