Music, Tree Hugging, Massage and Bodywork of all kinds, including energy modalities, clothing, learning about history and other cultures via their cuisine, textiles and music. Belly dancing. Am looking to take up sparring ie. boxing with a friend of mine who's a local coach (that should be vewwy interwesting LOL!) And sad but true, I am truly interested in saving the world.:)
The New Biology- From Victim to Master of Your Health

There are a couple of statements in this vid I don't agree with, but it's a good overview of where I am going in my life right now. Bio-individuality is almost a new Bill of Rights and certainly the New Frontier. The irony of discovering what truly makes us physical will be the thing that makes us realize how spiritual we really are.
Genghis Kahn, Thomas Jefferson, George Jefferson, Bill Maher, Patti Smith, Keith Richards, Robin Williams, Marianne Faithfull, Morgan Spurlock, the guy who won the inventors thing last year who's from Scotland, really anybody who's a decent human being with a story to tell, a lust for life, and a drink to share..
Justin Currie Web Q+A

Thanks for answering my boring question (although I suppose any number of others could have asked the same one).....glad you still have your voice and arms....I could absolutely picture Justin as a musty sequestered ancient history/archaeology research type though, one with a secret desire to be a well-hung, well-laid popstar!
Del Amitri, anything that's good and that you may have a hard time trying to decide which category it's filed under in the record store. My classic faves are CSN, Neil Young, Zep,Springsteen, Bob Dylan of course, and current faves include Gomez, Justin Currie's (soon to be released) Rebound material, Mary Gauthier, I See Hawks In LA, DriveBy Truckers among many, many others. Eclectic is just too narrow a term to describe my taste in music and I'm moody as hell, so you never know from morning to afternoon what might just turn up on the box...

I am so far behind on movies that I haven't made it through all my VHS tapes yet, it's not that I don't like to go but I'm such a tightwad that I like to wait for the home version unless it's something that just has to be seen on the BIG screen, like a Lord of the Rings or a Star Wars type thing. I cannot remember the last movie I saw in a theatre. I must do something about that. Any recommendations? My old school faves include Clockwork Orange,Harold & Maude, Gone With the Wind, Wizard of Oz, Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, Princess Bride, Groundhog Day,Fisher King, Caddyshack-in other words, you can tell I stopped going to the movies in the 70's....
I killed my TV in 1999, but can occ. be found mesmerised in front of the tube in a hotel room or at a friend's house. I recently had a guest who couldn't do without TV, so I rigged the old tin foil and potato McGiver on the antennae (Learned that from the guy who tried to kill Dan Rather-remind me to tell that story sometime) and we watched the Masters (my Superbowl) and Boston Legal (damn, if all TV was that good I could be lured back into the fold). Scrubs is not bad, and that reality show about the Amish was great. Bring back Joseph Campbell-I loved that series. And Andy Griffith was the greatest philosopher of our times (or was it Barney with his 'Nipit'ist view?)
Have historically been a big reader, but the last few years have attention deficited me right into periodicals only bedside oblivion. I really must do something about this. I'll get back to you on this front...
Rodney King for having the greatest quote of the last century "Why can't we all just get along?"

Mongol Official Trailer - The Untold Story Of Genghis Khan
YEAH, BABY!
View, weep, scream, clap.....then call your members of Congress and demand they sign on. This must be done before he's out of office or we'll never be able to prosecute. Nancy Pelosi is being completely amoral by trying to block this. He must be held accountable for the deaths of soldiers sent on false pretext to Iraq, for bankrupting us.
