About Me

I was born in Coureâ€™ D Alene, Idaho and grew up in a small town called Post Falls, Sandpoint, and Spokane, Washington. Also with a brief stint in Billings, Montana. I was born Travis Lawrence Marvella in 1980 to Kenny Marvella and Kathy Hakala. Kenny was already married with several kids and Kathy was just 16 years old, living with her mother (Joanne). She had gotten pregnant at the age of 15 to a married man. With the close supervision of my Grandmother Joanne, Thelma and Aunt Darla I blossomed into a beautiful young woman. At the age of 12 I started to sing gospel in a local church down the street from where I used to live, and I started to tour to other local churches in the northwest. I became actively involved in volunteer work and non profit work with the Red Cross, and The Drop In Center. Slowly it became apparent that I was not like other â€œboysâ€ and I transitioned into womanhood with the direct supervision of my grandmother Joanne. My mother had remarried twice by now. My father had committed suicide and I was left alone at the age of 15 to do whatever I wanted in life. I dropped out of high school where I was viciously teased, hit, and made fun of for being transgendered. I traveled some and after the death of my grandmother Joanne when I was 17, I moved to Portland, Oregon, the city of roses. I continued my charity work and helping out non profits until 2006 when I went to college to become an Administrative Medical Assistant, and I graduated with honors! Before I graduated I started to volunteer for non profit organizations again and toured the United States. Over my illustrious career as an entertainer I have earned such titles as Ms Lambda, Ms BSGRA, Ms Gay Pride, Ms Gay Portland, Woman of the Year, Entertainer of The Year and Ms Gay Oregon. I have given 13 years of my life to serving on the board of directors to several organizations and now with me in my late 20â€™s, I am relaxing. I am enjoying life, taking it all in and enjoying the fruits of my labor. Where and when the future holds, I do not know but I know, no matter what I decide, Iâ€™ll be my best at it.

My Interests

Tea, theater, non Profit fund raising, traveling, dining out, Myspace, education, dancing, and music.

I'd like to meet:

New people with fresh idea's on how to make a difference in today's society, raise money for charity and doing it with a positive attitude~Sylvia Browne, Oprah, The Pope, Shirley Maclaine, Whitney Houston, and Mother Teresa if she were still around.

Music:

ITS ALL ABOUT WHITNEY HOUSTON but other people that are allowed to exist are: Janet Jackson, Cher, Aretha Franklin, Fantasia, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Billie Holiday and The Pussycat Dolls.

Movies:

The Exorcist, Nightmare On Elm Street Series, Scream Series, The Ring, The Grudge, American Haunting, The Haunting, White Noise, Jeepers Creepers, What Happened To Emily Rose, Supersize Me, McLibel, An Inconvenient Truth, Stardust.

Television:

ITS ALL ABOUT LOST but other shows that are allowed to exist are: Dateline,The Golden Girls, Designing Women, Bewitched, E! Channel, The Ghost Whisperer, and Will & Grace.

ANYTHING WRITTEN BY SYLVIA BROWNE!!!! Other authors and books I've enjoyed are: Door To December- Dean Koontz, Flowers In The Attic- V.C. Andrews, Crossing Over- John Edward, Reaching Beyond Heaven- James Van Praag, Many Lives Many Masters- Brian Wiess, and many more.
