I am a Southern Girl, married to a [clutch the pearls] YANKEE. (Well, DC Native, anyway. They all think DC is The South up here. Puh-lease. If you can't get Sweet Tea without driving half an hour Southward, you ain't In The South.) We have a paranoid schizophrenic dog and a stubborn, delusional cat, with plans of eventually having kids. (Hopefully, they won't be as messed-up as our pets are.)
Aside from being a Southern Girl, I am a total goofball. I don't enjoy exercise, but I *would* wear roller skates every day if it made any sense at all. I'm an expert bargain shopper, a bookworm, and a liberal feminist. I probably don't know what day it is, but I can, more than likely, answer any music question you might have, and am good at math (except when splitting the check at a restaurant-- all math skills escape me then). Most kids I know think I'm about six years-old, but that I got a grown-up's body by accident, and most grown-ups I know probably wouldn't disagree with that. I love to fish, have a photographic memory, and think that Paul Carrack, Paul Rodgers, and Myles Kennedy are the best, most under-appreciated singers in the history of Rock.
Let's see. What else can I say? I'm into going to/watching movies, hearing good music, eating good food, and laughing my fanny off as much as possible. I am positively addicted to Bad Television just as much as I am to Good Television, with Big Brother being nothing short of an obsession every summer. I'd probably leave my husband for Keith Olbermann, Jack Black, and/or Bill Murray, and would actually think about it for awhile before turning down Eddie Vedder. I think snow is pretty, yet stupid, and I live and breathe for Beach Time. And bacon. I'd do just about anything for bacon.
Two rules I live by:
No ordeals.
No drama.
Otherwise, I say why stand when you can sit? And, good lord, why sit if you can LIE DOWN?
