CURRENT NEWS ON MARLEY AKA GRAFIK:
DUBAI/UAE, EGYPT
The beginning of 2007 began my adventures in the Middle East. I accompanied world-class photographer, Lily Bandak, to the Region as the guests of the royal family of Dubai and Sharjah. We documented day to day life, historic costumes from the area with live models, area architecture both past present and future, in addition to the sea of interesting people that make up the region. The overall goal of our trip was to show the rest of the world, especially those in the states that only have a limited idea of what this region is like, that there are two sides to every situation. The people of the arab world are complicated just like in America. For the most part, the people are peaceful, business-minded, forward thinking, and have a love for life and the advancement of their people. The UAE (United Arab Emirates) is one of the most advanced places in the world. They have architecture that is unmatched anywhere else and their scientists, doctors, architects and other great minds are leaders in their fields. The leaders of the UAE are also very forward thinking, benevolent, charismatic, and have a great love and interest in "all" aspects of their people and country.

Your Hidden Talent
You are a great communicator. You have a real way with words.
You're never at a loss to explain what you mean or how you feel.
People find it easy to empathize with you, no matter what your situation.
When you're up, you make everyone happy. But when you're down, everyone suffers.
What's Your Hidden Talent?
THESE ARE THE PHOTOGRAPHS AND SAMPLE OF THE BODY OF WORK TAKEN DURING MY AMAZING TRIP TO THE UAE AND EGYPT IN EARLY 2007...ENJOY!
GET OUT AND VOTE: "CHANGE" "HOPE" "YES, WE CAN!"
REMEMBER THIS... DON'T LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN, VOTE, PARTICIPATE IN "YOUR" LIFE!
PLEASE WATCH THE WHOLE THING, WATCH IT WITH SOMEONE ELSE, WATCH IT WITH AN OPEN MIND, TRY NOT TO KICK YOURSELF FOR BELIEVING EVERYTHING THAT YOU'VE BEEN LIED TO ABOUT YOUR WHOLE LIFE...SERIOUSLY!

ARE WE THAT DIFFERENT... FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF!
Bob Marley, Rakim, Nas, Buju Banton, Sizzla, Louis Armstrong, Toots Hibbert, Billie Holiday, Jimi Hendrix, Jay Z, The Roots, Mos Def, Edith Piaf, Black Violin, ...the list goes on. I'm a music snob/phanatic, so anything that ain't straight garbage, I'll give a chance.
On the promotion end, I'm interested in meeting up and coming artists who are serious about their craft and who are about putting in some real work to achieve uncommon results! Right now, living in Dubai, I am looking for Arab artist that can flow and/or sing in Arabic and english: Trying to work on the urban music scene from an Arab perspective.
Whatever has the most explosions, lol. That real gangster stuff: Shottas, Goodfellas, Shaka Zulu, Scarface, The Godfather Set, Hoodlum, The Harder They Come, King of New York, Gladiator, Brave Heart, Half Baked, Casino, Coming To America, American Gangster, Paradise Now, New Jack City, The Last of The Mohicans, Apocolypto, Amistad, Belly, too many to name.
I also like comedies, thrillers, scary flicks, hip hoperas, documentaries & "flicks" (eh, I'm a guy!)
THIS IS THE HOTTEST MOVIE ABOUT JAMAICAN URBAN LIFE SINCE "THE HARDER THEY COME" (JIMMY CLIFF) "SHOTTA FROM BIRTH..."
"NEW BLAST"
I'm working on a unique video project on the City of the Future...," Dubai and what makes it tick from a young Arabs' view. TRAILER COMING SOON!
....

The Invisible Man, The Great Gatsby, 1984, The Autobiography of Malcolm X, Chicken Soup for the ________ Soul, Brave New World, Common Sense, The Writings of Frederick Douglas, Theological doctrines, various magazines... I'm a designer, I look at everything, even if I don't like it.
