The New Sekret Service, formed by The Sekret Service founder James L. Richard II, is turning heads with its refreshing, high-energy, interactive and authentic dance party show. When we say refreshing, we mean that youll enjoy some of the highest energy, up tempo R&B, Pop & Funk dance cover tunes from the 50`s,60`s,70s, 80s and 90s thru today spiced up with an occasional hip hop chop when there is a younger clientele. Plus, youll rarely hear these songs played anywhere else. Imagine enjoying a night dancing to number 1 hits that have NOT been played to death by other bands. When we say high energy and interactive we mean that this band puts on a SHOW! They get out there and get the crowd into it by getting them involved in some fun, simple dance routines and back and forth call and response. No other band takes it to the crowd like The New Sekret Service! When we say authentic, we mean that several members of this band have been involved in recording, creating and performing their own original Grammy Award winning Dance Hits that fall into the R&B, Funk, and Pop Dance music Genres. No pretenders playing here. These musicians grew up in this business and have always done dance music for a living!

We are currently the band that frequently plays behind Club Nouveau (Grammy number 1 Hit "Lean On Me"). Based in The Holy City Of Oakland California, our line-up includes Club Nouveau and chart topping producer James L. Richard; ConFunkShun's former bass player, Fred The Fonkmaster White, and M.C. Hammer's heyday drummer, Mr. Tyrone T Super Duncan himself. Round this out with Star musician/vocalists Chuck Lounge, and Juan Uglyfingers Blair and youve got a band in which everyone sings, rotates and plays all the instruments. Basically here are all of the ingredients necessary for an unforgettable, Dance until you drop, night of fun, romancing, moving and grooving. Plus, enjoy many of your dance favorites that will be spinning between sets and after our interactive dance show ends!
