Pierre is a professional drummer, vocalist and producer who is currently playing for LENNY WILLIAMS as well as UNCLE FUNKY. Pierre has worked with various artist such as - Dawn Robinson, Mary Wells, Committed Ministries, Noiz, Terry Bradford, The Strip, Executive Suite, Sekret Service, Desciple, Lunch With GOD, Color Box, 7 Powers, Trace Ellington, M.O.S., Monet, D-Bad, Mz Parley, After Dark, Baby James, Shawii, Dale Chung & The DC Initiative and many others.Pierre started playing drums at age 6. His teachings came from various drummers through out the Bay Area who were in different bands that his mother was in. By age 12, he and some of his good friends (Jeff "DESCIPLE" Lunzaga and Juan "UGLY FINGERS" Blair) started their own band. After a few years and a number of name changes as well as personnel changes, they finally decided to stick with the name THE STRIP. By this time, they added three new members, Juan "UNCLE FUNKY" Richardson, Joel "J.L. PIRATE" Lunzaga and later Leticia "LETY" Penado to the group. Pierre stayed with THE STRIP for about 16 years before starting to venture out on his own to play with other groups.Pierre started to notice his producing talents in the late 80's when he teamed up with the writing wizard Kevin "KEVY KEV or 3C" Brooks. Together they formed BLEU BOYS PRODUCTIONS. In 1993, Pierre started working with another powerhouse producer REDEEM formally DJ REDEEM from MC HAMMERS camp. Together they started SERIAL HITMAKERS PRODUCTIONS which later turn into PSYCHOPATH PRODUCTIONS. While still being apart of his production company, PIERRE continued to play small gigs with various bands around the Bay Area. While playing with a band called AFTER DARK, he met a bass player by the name of KEVIN SCOTT who was playing for LENNY WILLIAMS. He told Pierre that LENNY WILLIAMS was looking for a drummer that could sing as well as play and thought Pierre would be perfect.Pierre started playing with LENNY WILLIAMS in January 2001. He played in various places throughout the United States. In September 2003, Pierre had the privilege of going to South Africa and performing for the Mandela family. In November 2003 Pierre performed in the Bahamas as well as Isle Navidaz and Manzanillo, Mexico. While performing with LENNY WILLIAMS Pierre has had the honor of being on shows with such greats as RICKY JAMES, BOB WOMACK, ARETHA FRANKLIN, VESTA WILLIAMS, ANTHONY HAMILTON, EVELYN "CHAMPAGNE" KING, ROLLS ROYCE, LAKESIDE, CAMEO, THE TIME, CONFUNCTION, ALICIA KEYS and many others. In 2005, he performed for ARETHA FRANKLIN'S private Christmas party. In 2006, Pierre performed at the Soul on the Beach in Aruba.Pierre can also be heard on LENNY WILLIAMS' latest CD "My Way" as well as COMMITTED MINISTRIES "A New Beginning". Pierre can also be heard playing as was as singing background on UNCLE FUNKY'S CD "Chocolate Booty". Pierre is now working on LENNY WILLIAMS' new CD which is currently in production as well as UNCLE FUNKY. On both CD's Pierre will show more of his production skills.The 30 plus years that Pierre has been playing has given him great opportunities to meet extraordinary people and with this Pierre plans to continue to stretch his musical talents and production skills as far as possible.
