KIMBERLY CHILLOUS (Kimberly Hammond) --Songwriter, Producer, R&B and Gospel Vocalist
Kimberly Chillous born Gary Indiana. Raised Youngstown,Ohio. Kyym was first introduced to music at the age of twelve when she began singing in her family’s church. At the age of fifteen, she auditioned for the Rayen High School Gospel Choir of Youngstown , Ohio . She was chosen to perform under the direction of Mr. Kenny Eldridge, an International Gospel recording artist and Gospel Record Company owner out of Youngstown , Ohio .
During her teenaged years, Kyym performed in various school functions and All City talent shows. She was also blessed with the opportunity to sing in the Stambaugh Auditorium and in the Holy Temple C.O.G.I.C. Church Choir of Youngstown , Ohio . At this point, Kyym’s life’s vision finally became clearer. She knew that singing and performing would be a part of her life forever. Currently, Kyym’s dream is still holding strong.
A year after graduating high school, Kyym joined a band as a background vocalist. That exhilarating experience taught her the realization of what Rhythm and Blues music is all about. As an adult, Kyym performed on the Ron Daniels Television Show of Youngstown , Ohio for National Black History week. She also performed at weddings, funerals, and various church functions and programs. Kyym took advantage of every opportunity she had to perform live. Her drive and ambition eventually lead her to Radio D.J. and Pastor Monica Beasley-Martin, who made it possible for Kyym to perform live on the Roy Simmons Show on Youngstown W.G.F.T Gospel Radio Show. At this time, Kyym began to travel with Pastor Monica Beasley Martin, who became her co-partner in Feed My Sheep Ministries. While traveling, Kyym got her chance to gain more particle experience and was able to express her endless love for music in her own way.Kyym has also donated her time throughout the United States by vocally training solo artists and directing several church youth choirs, even going as far as Waco, Texas. As a local Performer/Solo Vocalist, Kyym has been able to perform live on numerous occasions. She has also been able to perform on both television and radio, and was featured in the Buckeye Review of Youngstown , Ohio .
In 2005, Kyym added video and web design to the many things that Wellblessings do. In 2006 she made music videos for three artists: Karie, (who is on Wellblessings label), Baz da real daz, and D Devon, which opened the door for her to record national artists such as Yung Joc “Pimp C”, Glen Jones and the first Hip Hop Award show, in Cleveland, OH. Kyym started working with Bill “Silver B” Richards at “In the Living Room”, performing in many festivals, star tributes, and open mic sessions, which opened the door for her to meet Walter “Big Walt” Johnson, the CEO of East Hollywood Music Productions.. After being under “Big Walt’s” training for six months, he pulled Kyym and Wellblessings under his umbrella, therefore allowing Kyym to be blessed and a part of the H. B. Barnum family, doing web design. During that time, she has worked with the Legendary “Carl Carlton” and “Sounds of the Delfonics”, doing video footage. She has also done promotions and commercial for “RappSearch” and “I Sing Like Aretha” (a huge project launched by the Legendary H. B. Barnum and Walter “Big Walt” Johnson). Also since her arrival in Cleveland, she has done videography for the Cleveland Coalition Entertainment Group ( Cleveland ’s Entertainment Gurus who showcase upcoming artists – signed and unsigned).
Currently, kyym is using her performing talent, both local and out of town, as a method to raise funds for her non-profit organization, Wellblessings Ministries. She also manages, writes and produces music for other artists, while continually being in pursuit of her own career. In the near future, she is scheduled to work with National recording artist “Slave” for the 2007 Holiday season.
