Be Realistic: Demand the Impossible!

About Me

"Acoustic folk punk that is emotive and outspoken [...] This album has made up part of the soundtrack to my summer. Essential Acoustic." - Vince, Last Hours
"An irrepressable acoustic force [...] bringing the house down on at least one occasion." - Jas, Last Hours
"Ooh it's really good innit? Coz it's like... made of cardboard and it opens up." - Gaby's mum on our cd cases
"PJ and Gaby are a perfectly likeable pair who play perfectly likeable songs to perfectly likeable audiences. Their unique blend of folk punk and pop has been thrilling audiences all across europe, where they regularly play all kinds of venues, from squats to rooftops, open fields to dingy clubs and pubs. Their debut recorded offering (a split album with the coat tail surfing N. Sutherland) is a beautifully crafted masterpiece which can only be beaten in terms of enjoyment by PJ's Jager fuelled antics and Gaby's obsession with the meat windmill." Jonny One Lung, ex-Filaments, Suicide Bid, fully fledged babylon Whacker
Hello we're PJ & Gaby. How's it goin?
We love: music. Punk, folk, rock n' roll, rockabilly, psychobilly, hardcore, post rock, post hardcore, jazz, acoustic music, some hip hop, some emo, instrumental music, lotsa stuff. We hope you enjoy listening to the stuff on this page.
We also love: Animals, protesting, making your voice heard and we truly believe that music has the ability to change the world and the way we live. Oh and bowling. PJ freakin loves drunken bowling. Gaby however, is a Scrabble fiend. Take her on at your peril.
PJ started makin solo music way back when - around 6 years ago. His first recording was a 15 track split with fellow artist and good friend Jess Lewin (www.myspace.com/scarletriffs) entitled "Grass, Stars and Chocolate Bars." The split was auto-distributed through our piss-take label "Blargh! Records." Since then, he and Gaby have been playing as many shows as possible in random places: houses, squats, bars, basements, the street and even the occasional venue.

As well as the acoustic stuff, PJ also used to play in 2 bands (see the "marplotz" and "shakeheads" banners below). Please check em out if you have the time and lend em your support.

The King Blues are a wicked folk/rudeboy ska band from London. They will make you feel warm inside.

It is my humble opinion that you should check out the following bands and causes as well as the banners above:
PETA2 - www.peta2.com
A wonderful site full of awesome bands, interviews and great resources for getting young people active for animals, the environment and their health.
Neil Sutherland- www.myspace.com/neilsutherlandacoustic
This man will melt your heart. Fans of good folk-punk: Go check him out!
Jess Lewin - www.myspace.com/scarletriffs
Pure genius.
Little Boy Blue - www.littleboyblue.org
Little Boy Blue plays awesome riot-folk about killing George Bush.
Indymedia - www.indymedia.org
Totally independent media. Ad-free, corporate-free, grassroots. Awesome.
Adbusters - www.adbusters.org
The online version of the magazine that will make you wanna tear ads apart and replace em with art.
