Hi, I'm Emma. I'm 21. I'm a student. I talk fast, I walk fast, and I live fast. Not the drink-drugs-casual sex fast, but the I do what I love and I love what I do, most of the time, fast.
I live for music.
I firmly believe in the idea that "Life without music is a mistake."
I love going to shows. My favourite bands/artists at the moment are Rancid, My Chemical Romance, King Blues, Thursday, Thrice, Tori Amos, Rise Against and Alexisonfire. Punk music is my favourite thing in the world but I'll listen to pretty much anything.
Except nu-rave.
I used to be in a band and I might be in one again soon.
I'm a vegetarian, going vegan in January 2008.
New Jersey is like a second home to me. [44 days.]
However, currently I'm on my "US tour" and I'm in San Francisco, California.
I love art. I love my tattoos. I love the Japanese culture. I love travelling. I'm left wing. I've moved a lot. I've had a tough life.

I did have an alphabetical list of a load of bands, but why? It's pointless. Like I said, I love a lot of music. Rancid are my favourite band.

I wrote this line a while ago, and I think it sums up what I'm not when it comes to music.

A waste of space in Misfits tees, faking passion for the magazines.

As it happens, I love Misfits (ask the crowd at Strike Anywhere in CBGBs, Sept 4th 06, when I went fucking MENTAL during Ignite's cover of 20 Eyes). I just hate that crap about people who like stuff because a magazine tells them to. Listen to what feels right. That's the world of music I know and love anyway. Punk kid at heart, rabid multi-genre collector in practice. ^_^
