An eye for an eye has always sounded pretty fair to ME...

About Me

..Notice: If you are a webcam girl or are flogging some kind of dating site or ad, do not send me an add request. I will mark your profile as spam and send customer service your profile information so that it will be deleted. Fucking parasites.
If you intend to send me an add request, please accompany it with a short message as to why you want to be on my friend's list...and it might be a good idea to include some kind of comment that at least suggests that you read my profile before sending the request. Random add requests will be denied.
You wish you knew me
....I am who I am
“I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging the future but by the past.”
- Patrick Henry
"Individual rights are not subject to a public vote; a majority has no right to vote away the rights of a minority; the political function of rights is precisely to protect minorities from oppression by majorities (and the smallest minority on earth is the individual)." --- Ayn Rand
"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter, and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."~Abraham Lincoln
What to say, what to say about me? I hate these things, really. I love to read..anything and everything, but mostly Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror. I studied Tae-Kwon-Do, Judo, and Aikido off and on for 16 years but no longer practice actively. I studied swordfighting (American Fencing - Saber) for 8 years, reaching the national ranking of Class "C", but again, it is not something that I am currently active in. I have been in the military as a Combat Engineer and EOD Trainee, done repo work for Rent to Own companies in the worst slums of Baton Rouge, worked in bars as bartender, bouncer, and, for a year and a half, owner. I am well informed on almost any subject you can name, but do not talk much at all. I have been an alcoholic since I was 18 years old but currently do not drink...and have also done almost every drug known to man, although I no longer do any illegal drugs and have not since 2000. Music is probably more important to me than any other single intangible thing; I would, if I had to make a choice, choose to lose every other sense so long as I could keep my hearing....in Music, Man gives His soul wings....yet I play no instruments, and cannot write music. I excel at diagnosing other people's problems and giving solid advice but often cannot make heads or tails of where my head is at. I care deeply about people and donate both time and money to efforts to try to improve people's lives and living conditions yet crowds intimidate me and I hate being touched by people that I do not know well. I am strongly in favor of both the death penalty and harsher sentences for most crimes that involve violence...but am against gun control. I love animals, especially cats and horses, yet I support animal testing for products, especially medicines, and I hate and fear dogs...all dogs...and I hate PETA.
I despise people that manipulate and/or abuse children, and would happily volunteer to shoot any person that was guilty of seriously abusing a child...especially sexual abuse. I was abused physically, mentally, and emotionally as a child...but do not agree that that is an excuse that people can or should use to explain their behavior. I am not conventionally religious, but do not rule out the idea of a Higher Power and Purpose...while hating organized religion with a passion.
I do not watch television at all, except for Heroes and Dexter, and, recently, Jekyll.. dislike organized sports, especially football, and believe that cell phones are the direct cause of the continuing decline in courtesy and manners in America, yet I own both a television and a cell phone.
I am intelligent but often behave in less than intelligent ways.
There are times when I am surly and rude, I can be one arrogant son-of-a-bitch, especially when I know that I'm right and someone is being deliberately obtuse or ignorant, I can be abrasive and hard to get along with, I'm moody, I often put the intangible things I value ahead of the things society values, and have often wondered how I ended up with so many friends.....but at least I'm honest about it.
I am probably one of the most simple and most complex persons that you will ever meet. You may think you know me...but you don't.
THE RULES
Never hit a woman unless she's attacking with a deadly weapon.
Never strike a child in anger.
Never abuse a child, sexually or psychologically or emotionally or physically.
If you have to spank a child, it should be just that...a spanking.
And you should love them immediately afterward.
Always be kind unless you are forced to not be kind.
Listening to people is the greatest way to be able to help them....or find out what they're up to.
Never, ever....write anyone off as a total loss.
Never let things like 'traditional gender roles' keep you from being
who you are, and doing what you want to do.
Love makes the world go around.
Prepare for war. Pray for peace.
To hell with anyone that doesn't believe in you.
"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life... let it. Nobody said that it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it."
NEVER GIVE UP!

My Interests

Books (over 1,000) movies (about the same) martial arts, working out, improving animals' lives, work, work, work. Fine food. Cats. I LOVE CATS. Women, obviously. Hot candle wax. Piercings. People with intelligence and a sharp sense of humor. Old cars. Graveyard art. B-rate horror movies as junk food for the brain. Guns of all types. I collect medieval weapons. Explosives. Blowing things up is very, very cool, but also very, very illegal--I learned how in a stint in the Army (12B) and I miss it. There's nothing like quite watching a 60 ton tank bounce 40 yards into the air. PLAYING POOL, the all time get-to-know-you relaxer.
Really, I'm interested in anything and everything. Right now, you are sitting in front of the greatest research tool created by Man to date. Why aren't you learning something?!

I recently became interested in Digital Photography, and have uploaded some pictures to DeviantArt.com. You can click on the picture below to view my online gallery. More pictures will be added as they are taken, lol.

My score on The What Type of Human Are You? Test :

Teacher
(You scored 65% Do Gooder, 72% Drive, and 89% Intellect!)

You are a smarty-pants and eager to share your knowledge with others, while still open to absorbing everything in your environment. That is why you are a teacher (and at the same time, a perpetual student). You have above average intelligence and the drive to be effective in your life and the lives of others. You are also a good person who cares about others, but yourself as well, generally not letting people take advantage of you. A teacher is a great thing to be and we need more humans like you in the world.

All human being categories are: Lazy SOB, Rebel w/out a Cause, Evil Mastermind, Henchman, Criminal, Dictator, Frat Boy, Socialite, Philosopher, Stunt Double, Upstanding Citizen, Teacher, Cheerleader, Sister Mary DoGood, Benefactor, Loyal Sidekick, Candy Striper, Goody Two-Shoes.

How you compared with other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 99% on Do Gooder.

You scored higher than 99% on Drive.

You scored higher than 99% on Intellect.

I'd like to meet:

In a dream world, I'd get to meet Dennis Miller, Dennis Leary, Jon Stewart, Penn and Teller, Steven Wright, George Carlin, Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, Steve Martin, Gary Oldman, Christopher Walken, Daniel Day Lewis,.....someone please tell me why comedians (and some actors) always seem to be the most intelligent people on the planet?

In the real world, I'd like to meet people that are: honest, funny, and intelligent. People that can appreciate me as I am, without trying to change something about me.

And...

Music:

..
Get your own Flash MP3 Player

Anything but country. Really. Well, and Pat Boone, etc. And 311. That band sucks. Other than that I listen to everything from classical to Insane Clown Posse. A few favorites are My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Skinny Puppy, Everlast, Chemical Brothers, Tori Amos (yes really), Dave Matthews Band, Lenard Cohen, Kid Rock, AC/DC, Butthole Surfers, Dead Kennedys, M. Manson, David Bowie, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Godsmack..and a lot of DJ/Techno high energy music. To be honest, I tend to like SONGS rather than GROUPS...

Movies:

Television:

In a few seconds you can feed a hungry animal or person and help a child learn to read. It costs you nothing.

Books:

Way, way to many to list. Some favorite authors include (anything at all by) Robert Heinlein, Terry Pratchet, L.E. Modesitt, Jack Chalker, Julian May, Robert Jordan, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Mercedes Lackey, William Gibson, C.S. Friedman, Terry Goodkind, Steven Brust, J.R.R. Tolkien. Etc. See above, I have more than a thousand books. It's hard to make a list of favorites when I like them all. Oh yeah, and Alfred Bestler's "The Stars My Destination"...my favorite story of all time.
