About Me

Well, this story begins like most others I should imagine... with a cheap nylon string which has seen better days, some encouraging friends and a lot of lessons to skive! It all started in the fields surrounding Banbury with my first band Ammokay (which included the stunningly talented pair that is Hannah Cornish and Terry McClintock) Many an afternoon spent lying on playing fields or crashed out on sofas, fumbling our way round our first riffs and building up some originals and covers, often with some bongo drums and harmonies thrown in for good measure!Next I branched out on my own and wrote some songs which I later put on a split called Grass, Stars and Chocolate Bars made with my favourite punk and all out musical soul mate PJ Shepherd. We later formed a band called Jasper with the two sexiest and talented ’Dave’s we could get our hands on, which spurred me on musically and added a bit of *Oomph* to my songs as well as some written by PJ and me.Now however, I am mostly back on the solo path, and with Scarlet (my trustee red Yamaha) by my side, anything and everything is possible so watch this space!
