About Me

This space was originally created to stop the senseless HR4437; HOWEVER, we have become a solidarity network that allows for students to support each other when they decide to exercise their rights through praxis. At the same time, we want to expand our network on a global scale, we want to enter into serious and honest dialogue with students of various countries (ethnicities) so that the world knows what we do inside the US; AND so that we gain knowledge of what other students are facing in the world.Oh, for those of you who are wondering what this big US flag represents: it is a statement. It means that the US is not a homogenous place, and that this country is ours, too. Many hateful individuals want us to believe that it is not, and as it has worked to a certain extent, those hate-filled individuals have been able to push insane ideas. Though we are against what many US "leaders" have done in the past, we know this is our country and that we want our country to change for the better--IF PEOPLE CAN CHANGE, SO CAN COUNTRIES.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

We are interested mainly in Latinos, but others are welcome to network with us, as well. We'd like to meet STUDENTS who are tired of injustices, racism, and discrimination. We'd also like to meet progressive THINKERS and ORGANIZATIONS who will colaborate with us and protect students from the attacks of intolerant and indifferent institutions, and sometimes even our government. We also would like to meet progressive MEDITATIVE and ACTIVE individuals and organizations that will help us understand complex local and global issues as they have experienced them (while being tolerant of the FACT BASED OPINIONS of others).
