About Me

No More Deaths is a grassroots humanitarian aid organization that exists to reduce the fatality rate on the US/Mexico border. Although our projects are constantly evolving as we seek to adapt and remain effective through constantly changing conditions, we are currently focusing the bulk of our energies on the following projects;
Agua Prieta and Nogales Sonora: We opperate migrant centers in these border towns where we provide services, including food, water, medical attention, and human rights abuse doccumentation for recently deported immigrants.
Arivaca Base camp and Mobile Camp: Operating fron our base camp South of the small southern Arizona town of Arivaca, our summer volunteers stage patrols to look for migrants in distress. We provide those found with services such as water,medical attention, socks, and basic orientation as to date and direction.
Benjamin Hill: Almost all of those currently migrating are from areas south of Mexico City, and many are forced to make the journey North by clinging to the tops of freight trains. These trains finally stop when they reach the small northern Sonora town of Benjamin Hill, and NMD has been working in support of local humanitarian aid workers to provide services to those who disembark there.
Phoenix, Tuscon, Douglas, and everywhere else North of The Line: We are deeply committed to the struggle for immigrants rights, and for the recognition of the inherant worth and dignity of all human beings.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

You.

How Can I Support No More Deaths?

1. VOLUNTEER:
People of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience are needed to provide humanitarian aid, staff medical clinics, help with office and campaign strategies, and assist with multimedia documentation…and more!
Volunteer information and applications can be found on our website, or you can contact us to have one mailed to you. Call, e-mail, or attend a No More Deaths meeting in Tucson or Phoenix to learn about current updates and opportunities.

2. DONATE OR RAISE MONEY FOR NMD:
Feeding migrants, staffing humanitarian and political campaign work, and getting Samaritans out in the desert to provide aid to migrants all takes money. We appreciate any help you can give! (Make checks payable to St Mark's Presbyterian Church and note "No More Deaths" in the memo line.) Click "Make a Donation" to make a secure on-line donation:
3. SEND MATERIAL SUPPLIES:
The following items are given to migrants year-round by No More Deaths, Samaritans, and migrant center volunteers. We appreciate donations of individual as well as assembled packs.
Please mail all items to St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church. To drop off items during normal business hours, please contact NMD beforehand.

We encourage volunteering or donating much needed materials. Click on the following:
