About Me

Browse hundreds of MySpace Layouts .

LA Indymedia finally got a page here.
There's not enough time here to bash Fox and their data collection and copyright schemes. Read their contracts. Look for the MLF - MySpace Liberation Front, who are planning to exit this place on the 26th of July.
If we didn't send you a friend request, we humbly apologize. We're not big myspace-cases. Just make a friend request and we'll add you. (Commercial requests, and apolitical bands we don't know will probably be rejected.)
Our URL is la.indymedia.org . There, you'll find a site with local news written by the readers, who are "activists". Really, they're mostly regular people who are dealing with the difficulties and challenges life throws their way. They're just trying to do the right thing, to make the world better, and are the heros.
IMC is about recording the history of the people.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

IMC is always looking for writers, photographers, and so forth. We don't really "make assignments" as much as try to recognize the work of local journos. We've been called "amateur", but that's a good thing. Everyone has to start somewhere, and what better way than by doing something you love?
So, if you want to do IMC, the best way is to write something, or photograph something, or make a recorded interview or something. Then post it. Almost all of the energy and work of the IMC comes from the readers. "Thank you," every single reader, writer, photographer, and audio uploader.

Apologies to Bands

As you all know, bands promote heavily on myspace.  There is not enough time to listen to all the music, so, generally, when I (johnk) hit this account to add friends, I delete bands with the "My...
