*Desis Rising Up and Moving (DRUM): is a commuity-based social justice organization of low-income South Asian immigrants and immigrants facing deportation in New York City. Desi is a common term used by people of South Asian descent to identify as people from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, india, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and parts of the diaspora including Africa, England, Fiji, Guyana, and Trinidad. Our vision is to organize low-income South Asian immigrants for racial, economic, and social justice on critical local struggles and their global roots.

*Domestic Workers United (DWU): is a city-wide, industry-wide alliance of domestic workers and domestic worker organizations that have come together to gain respect and recognition for domestic workers, and establish fair labor standards in an industry where abuse and exploiration are the norm.

*Immigrant Communites in Action (ICA): ICA formed in January 2005 as the Queens Drivers License Coalition to build the pwoer of diverse immigrant communities in Queens and city-wide to drive back the attack on immigrants in New York and around the country. The coalition is made up of over 20 organizations of immigrants affected by this issue and non-immigrants concerned with the rights of immigrants.
